 Cagarro Project Caps

The following on the blog has been awesome,
Thank you for your views

It is now the time that some somewhat expensive items  need to be acquired -
(I was going to create a wish list but I thought that you could contribute and at the same time receive something in return)
 - the list goes on... anchor, life jackets, flares, life harnesses, etc etc  and ... on.

And so I have created some merchandise to raise funds for these things - lets see how it goes

The first item is an embroidered  Cagarro Cap,
Navy with white embroidery,
with a matte silver coloured closure
Only 2 available at the moment but more will be on the way, depending on response
price per cap €30, excluding shipping.
please contact me for a shipping quote via the contact form
on the right hand side of the blog.
Payment via PayPal

matte silvercolour closure,
the yellow colour is a reflection from the "land" in the chart background

 Making Nicholson type dorade vents

you can also see the pulpit support struts in progress on the left

the shape looks a bit different because of the super wide lens,
but they are exactly the same -  from a mould the edges just need to be trimmed and a base to be made

The inspiration, these do not leak ,
and I have a closing solution for really wet weather

 Painting

painting has begun, the two coats of slightly thickened epoxy (I prefer epoxy rather than epoxy primer) have been washed and lightly wet abraded to remove any amine blush (if there was any), then degreased and painting has begun
