Frame E completed, Frame C both sides are gusseted,  Frame D plywood bulkhead marked ready for cutting

Today a lot happened in the shop, there was a lot of epoxy mixing and glueing, The Epoxy I am using is Sicomin Resin SR5550, and the hardener is SR5503 Slow and SD5505 Fast -  an excellent product , have a look at their website

 and fillers - Fumed Silica, West 403 microfibres, West 404 high density filler.

all three fillers are used in my glue mix, to create a super strong bond.

 No Build update today visited Pico Island

Today we took the ferry from Faial to Pico to visit friends,

 and we discovered why the epoxy needed a bit of help with the shop heater last night - snow on Mt Pico

the sea was also a bit big, I estimated 3m but the radio said 4m, as usual the camera flattens it out and as I type this update the wind is pumping tonight

 Frame D and E gussets cut and frame D glued up.

Glued up frame D today - luckily there are only six frames so things luckily there are 
only six frames so it should get a bit more interesting.
