Twin Mainsheet -Companionway washboard Portlight
Here is the twin mainsheet installed - I have used this on my previous boats and it works really well, and it cancels out the need for a traveller. It also clears the cockpit and also enables the boom to be held in position. I may also add a boombrake system to "brake the boom" if needed later - I have a system that I used on my previous boat that slows the boom as you tack/gybe using blocks and an endless line to slow the booms travel, and also have an aluminium "figure 8 climbing descender" to use as a brake as well so there are 2 choices for that system I will use the best after trying and testing them. the only thing is they add extra "knitting" to the system.
and the top part of the two piece washboard gets a portlight
the 2 piece companionway washboards will be used when it is not neccesary to use
the one piece hatch that lives under the hatch garage/spraydodger

The forepeak/cargo hold door has been fitted
This is the door to the front of the boat that will create a watertight closure at the mast bulkhead with the addition of some neoprene seals and some fastenings (both still to be added. I have added a retaining cleat and a wood fairlead with some shockcord - this is seen on the top left of the door. The retaining cleat is a multipurpose hook that has already gained some hangers-on.
The door will most probably gain some add-ons in addition to the compass - to become a navigation station along with the already fitted chart table/bunk insert - many things on Cagarro are designed to be multi-use.
I am looking at adding a holder for the mobile phone that has backup charts added to it, and ais via wifi to the ais transponder - my dividers and parallel rules, pencils pens etc etc.
any suggestions are most welcome.
